Registered Nurse Geriatrics

Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for geriatric patients
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
Coordinate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive and personalized care
Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as needed
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Stay up-to-date with geriatric nursing practices and participate in professional development activities
Requirements
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in geriatrics
Strong knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Benefits

Pay Rate: $1,368 - $1,512 weekly
Class/Area: RN GERI
Desired Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 12 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 Shift and Time: 1845-0715
Schedule Details: Full Time
Weekend Rotation: As scheduled
On-call Requirements: No
Holidays Requirements: As scheduled
Floating Requirements: Must float to similar units
Experience Required: 12 months experience in last 18 months
Experience Preferred: PCC Charting
License Required: MO State
License Certificates Required: BLS
