Housekeeping Assistant
Salary from £20,444 + enhancements for unsocial hours
30 or 37.5 hours a week
Weekend availability required

North Downs Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Located within the M25, close to the centre of Caterham, the hospital opened in 1974 and currently has 15 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and a daycase suite. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. The fully equipped ultra clean air theatre is particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures offered such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements. The day unit is suitable for minor operations and endoscopy. Treatments at the hospital also include cataract removal, ENT procedures, hernia repair, varicose vein surgery, hysterectomy, prostate surgery and urological procedures.

The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our busy hospital at North Downs in Caterham. You will have a passion for delivering a high standard of service, and a desire to develop your skillset. Attention to detail essential.

What you will bring with you

High standards of cleanliness, safety and hygiene.

Ability to undertaking regular audits ensuring the health and safety of all customers and visitors using our facilities

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

Strong Customer Service skills

A warm, considerate and empathetic character 

The ability to make decisions and use your initiative 

Strong communication skills 

A flexible and can do attitude
