Accounts Payable Specialist

ITE Management, an investment firm that specializes in real asset investment opportunities in the industrial and transportation sectors, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. Responsibilities
Responsible for full AP cycle: ap system, invoicing, expense allocation, obtaining approvals, payments, trouble shooting
Monitor Management Company and Fund Invoice correspondence
Communicate effectively with internal and external vendors/employees regarding invoicing, review/approvals, payment status and resolving discrepancies
Receive and review all invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization
Data entry – create and review vendor payments in the general ledger - enter invoice data into the accounting system, ensuring proper coding
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
Process all vendor payments
Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger
Manage employee expense reports process
Prepare annual 1099s
Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as it relates to accounts payable
Ad hoc financial analysis and reporting per management request
Requirements
Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounts payable and general accounting with preference for experience working in private equity, at a hedge fund managers, as a Fund Administrator or at a public accounting organization
Advanced proficiency in excel and accounting software
Experience with Sage Intacct and Abacus a Plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically under pressure
Salary Range:
Estimated salary range for this position is: $(phone number removed). Employees may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
