JOB SUMMARY: Create, manage and distribute critical EHS performance reports, analysis and action plans to UPR clients. Identify and make recommendation for trend and audit focus for business lines based upon data analyzed. Develop, maintain and troubleshoot integrated systems for collecting, managing and reporting on key metrics and analysis using reporting technologies including (but not limited to) Crystal Reports, Excel, Access, and our online analytic tools including Gensuite, OHM and others.
* Identify, develop and implement metrics and measurements to facilitate a consistent approach to trending and risk analysis of EHS data sets. Developed metrics and measurements will be pulled from various independent and cross connected data management systems being operated across UPR to predict performance. Maintain a repository of trend analysis reports. Develop SOPs on measurement processes.
* Create, manage and regularly distribute critical EHS production and ad-hoc performance and trending reports to UPR businesses on a weekly basis. Maintain confidentiality of UPR operating information and ensuring accurate, timely delivery of information to appropriate EHS and personnel.
* Serve as the primary technical liaison with UPR client groups to identify, develop, run and distribute compliance, data and trend reports and dashboards. Interpret resulting data for client groups to help them gain understanding of performance drivers against expectation. Resolve identified discrepancies between data, reports and client understanding
* Routinely analyze EHS measurements, metrics, incident trends, regulatory findings and action plans and provide recommendation to the UPR executive and audit function regarding corrective action planning, third party audit priority, focus audit assignment and changes, as well as programmatic, training and inspection criteria.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of the UPR third party audit schedule and priority. Determine focus audit and inspection content and assignment based upon analyzed trends and CAPA plan elements. Disseminate Plans and priority to client groups.
* Develop, maintain and troubleshoot integrated systems for collecting, managing, and reporting technologies such as Crystal Reports, Excel, Access, and our online analytic tools. Document all systems and processes as appropriate.
* Resolve third party database system problems, communicate details and provide solutions on a pro-active, self-directed basis. Oversee the efforts of EHS database administrator, remote system administrators and project management teams to ensure pages are optimized for data collection; trending, subsequent reporting and resolve any operational challenges.
* Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE: Develop and maintain all internal integrated EHS data reporting systems while acting as liaison with third party database administrators used for EHS trending and audit priority within the UPR operations. Analyze all trended data and identify focus improvement areas, audit priority and focus and increased inspection opportunities for EHS. Aid clients in information access through dashboards and ongoing reports/communications. Provide interpretation and support to clients on trended data against performance expectation.
QUALIFICATIONS: Strong computer and analytical skills, ability to graph and use pivot tables, look up and use various other software formulas, ability to make independent decisions with little to no management related to trends, forecasts and data focus.
* High school degree or GED is required.
* Bachelors degree is preferred in Computer science, EHS, and/or analytical or other related field.
* Able to develop reports using prescribed software systems and internal integrated systems such as access and excel
* Equivalent combination of education and experience.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Work with UPR EHS and operational client groups. Travel may be required.
