Location: Nestled in the scenic Delaware Water Gap on the NJ/PA border, our 200-person facility is a leading producer of food additives, utilizing advanced DCS (Delta V) and PLC controls to drive our operations.
Role Overview: As a Senior Automation Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the operational efficiency of our main production site. Your deep understanding of automation and process controls will be crucial as you analyze current operations, pinpoint cost efficiencies, and spearhead projects that not only improve performance but also align with stringent safety, health, and environmental standards. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic team of operations staff and engineers to ensure the seamless integration and compliance of these enhancements.

Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
Brings at least 5 years of hands-on experience in plant control systems within manufacturing environments such as chemicals, food processing, or mechanical operations.
Demonstrates a strong proficiency in DCS and PLC control systems, with a preference for experience in Delta V.
