Fabrication Technician (2nd shift)

Luxium Solutions in Milford, NH is in search of a Fabrication Technician. The Fabrication Technician is responsible for setting up and operating polishing equipment to polish optics and optical components. The job involves performing a variety of finish surface grinding and polishing activities including mounting, grinding, polishing, cutting to size and inspecting ceramic material following established methods and procedures. Equipment includes but is not limited to grinding, lapping and polishing machinery. Operation of equipment also includes daily operator maintenance, adjustments and cleaning.
Schedule is M-F 2:00pm-10:30pm, including shift differential!
Required initial training period will be on 1st shift: 6:00am-2:30pm and will last about 4-6 weeks depending on individual.
Requirements
High School Diploma required.
1 year of Machining experience required.
Experience with micrometers and calipers required.
Technical/trade school degree or certificate in Machining preferred.
