The Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions within the Documents & Biometrics product portfolio.  We utilize Amazon Web Services as a cloud platform of choice.
What you will do
Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
Collaborate within a cross-functional team to gather and understand application requirements and provide cloud solutions accordingly.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, EKS, and other services.
Implement and enforce security best practices, conduct regular security assessments, and address vulnerabilities promptly.
Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency.
Participate in an On-call rotation.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Proven Experience: Prior designation working in a Cloud/Platform Engineer role
AWS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, EKS, Elasticache etc.
Automation Skills: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably AWS CloudFormation, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Security Focus: Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively while working remotely.
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest cloud technologies
