As a Regional Reliability Manager, you will be responsible to support and execute the reliability maintenance policy in specific LLBG sites in a defined region. In this role, you will be responsible to analyse and optimise existing preventative and predictive maintenance plans (50%) as well as initiate and lead several strategic improvement projects (50%). You will report to the Group Reliability Manager and work closely together with the Reliability Engineers across the different sites in your region.

Your function:
  • You will be responsible to implement and standardize maintenance plans into the sites by rolling out continuous improbement projects and sharing best practices. For this you will work closely with the local Technical Service Managers and Reliability Engineers across the various sites.
  • You will be responsible to execute La Lorraine Bakery Group's maintenance philosophy in orde to increase the equipment life cycle at optimal cost by:
    • design, implement and audit preventative maintenance plans at Group level;
    • design, implement and optimise the policy for spare parts;
    • audit the lines while paying specific attention to the current state of the line from a technical and technological perspective and the performance status of the line.
    • set up specific action plans in order to increase the equipment life cycle on those lines.
  • You will be responsible to set up and implement continuous improvement processes across the various sites. For this you will focus on training and managing the local teams (RCA tools, methods and processes).
  • You will ensure that new engineering projects are implemented with the correct focus on reliability (documentation, maintenance plans, spare parts and maintenance design). For this you will have to collaborate strongly with the engineering team and with equipment suppliers.
  • Using your expertise and insight regarding reliability requirements combined with inspirational leadership, you will act as a change agent to achieve performance and efficiency measures which can be applied throughout the organisation and will be adopted by everyone.
Your profile:
  • You have a technical educational background (e.g. industrial engineer), 5 to 10 years relevant experience of industrial maintenance (reliability, maintenance, technical service, ) within a complex, industrial manufacturing context.
  • You have broad knowledge of reliability engineering tools and techniques (5Why, RCA, FMECA, RCM, )
  • Experience in the food industry and/or experience in a multi-site environment is a plus.
  • As a good negotiator, you know how to approach the possible tension between the local plants and the Group within an expanding organisation.
  • You combine a well-developed analytical and conceptual approach which you can translate well on the shop floor.
  • Next to your good knowledge of the various improvement philosophies and techniques, you have a pragmatic, no-nonsense and entrepreneurial personality.
  • You are solution-oriented but can also think on a tactical and strategic level.
  • You have well-developed leadership skills and are familiar with indirect leadership and managing teams remotely.
  • You are flexible, dynamic, decesive, driven and you offer a high level of service.
  • You know how to express yourself fluently in Dutch and English (bith written and spoken). Additional knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • You are prepared to spend up to 50% of your time travelling to the international manufacturing sites in your region. You will try to work mainly from a LLBG production site.
