NHS Supply Chain are recruiting for a Data Management Analyst to join the Data Services team.

The Data Management Analyst will work with a wide range of stakeholders to mature all aspects of data management across the organisation. They will focus initially on critical data quality improvement, master data management process automation and defining data curation requirements for the new enterprise data platform.

What does a Data Management Analyst do at NHS Supply Chain?

Analyse data quality, integrity, context and classification across various systems, using a range of tools, approaches and standards.
Define data management processes including curation rules for the new NHS Supply Chain Data Hub and master data maintenance, demonstrating focus on quality, automation, standardisation and collaboration.
Analyse data management problems, and define value-based requirements improving and monitoring maturity.
Provide data stewardship advice and governance across NHS Supply Chain, to ensure quality, consistency and efficiency, and delivery of the Data Strategy.

What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?

Experience managing master data, reference data, analytics data and meta data
Data quality analysis, mapping and monitoring experience using a variety of tools and techniques
Contextual data definition skills
Proven problem solving and process improvement skills and ability to define creative solutions to meet business needs
Regulatory data compliance awareness
Strong business focus with demonstrated ability to form effective working relationships, be resourceful and resolve conflicts
Excellent communication and briefing skills
Pragmatic and enabling skills balanced with a strategic focus and mindset
Enthusiasm for innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to inspire.

Hybrid working; a blend of home and office working 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.
