Our client is a global oil & gas company and is now recruiting for the following contract:
Vacancy: Offshore Structures Engineer
Location: Milan
Duration: 6 months +
Start date: ASAP
Essential Skills:
* Strong working knowledge of analysis and design of offshore structures
* Ability to create and verify FEM models of fixed offshore structures, jackets and topsides
* Ability to develop and execute analysis of offshore structures in place (inservice, fatigue, seismic etc) and temporary conditions (lifting, transportation, load out, launch etc. )
* Knowledge of Eurocode 3 and AISC rules
* Working experience of structural design of floating platforms, topsides
* Pushover collapse analysis
* Use of USFOS systems
* Experience in Structural Integrity Management and lifetime extensions of offshore platforms
* Knowledge of DNVGL SESAM suite required
Qualification: relevant engineering qualifications
