A large engineering company on the outskirts of Ipswich, Suffolk are currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Inspector to join their growing team.
This is a Temporary - Permanent position for the right person and will be paying between £12 - £14 per hour, depending upon experience.
Overview:
As a Junior Quality Inspector, your main responsibility will be to ensure that products meet specific quality standards and regulatory requirements.
What does the position entail:
* Testing & Inspection of products using specialist equipment and tools to ensure that the products are safe for use
* Work closely with engineers to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures
* Maintain detailed records of inspection results including measurements
* Evaluate the quality of incoming materials and components from suppliers
Candidate Requirements:
* Will come from a Technical & Engineering background
* An NVQ/Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or similar is required
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office
* Ability to work well individually and within a team
* Must be able to read from technical drawings
* Good user of inspection tools and equipment
