As a Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for maintenance arrangements for asset upkeep to meet legislative and operating needs within the target department. You will also be a technical authority and maintenance leader for the owned asset base and control maintenance of owned assets in a safe, reliable, and available status.
During your first few weeks in this Maintenance Engineering role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
Control maintenance of owned assets in a safe, reliable, and available status
Plan and oversee planned maintenance planning, preparation, execution and hand-back to production operations
Cost control of annual maintenance spend
Propose Capital Projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Work closely with production and planning groups to minimize disruption and maximise asset capacity
The successful Maintenance Leader applicant will have 18th Edition electrical qualification. Additional requirements include:
DSEAR/ATEX awareness
Familiarity with multiple engineering disciplines
Full computer literacy and experience with CMMS systems
Good understanding of UK legislation akin to a manufacturing facility
