For an international (re)insurance organization I'm looking for an experienced IT Service Desk & work place support professional. Client Details The role of the IT Service Desk & Work Place Support sits within the IT department to provide information and IT services for the Europe business community. The role is required to perform the roles of both Service Desk and WPS (Deskside support) for users in Europe. It is a hybrid role which requires a good level of understanding of IT, a good level of technical knowledge to be able to fix a range of issues and ability to provide a great level of service to our business. Description What are you going to do? User Support - Perform fault diagnosis for incidents and fulfil requests and respond to questions from users. Provide Communications to the business users and respond to escalations as required Incidents and Problems - Ability to analyse the cause and nature of incidents and problems in the environment, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to address issues JML -Ensure adherece to all Joiner, Mover and Leaver processes and the related controls Knowledge and Documentation - Support keeping knowledge and documentation up to date and contributing where appropriate Service Improvement - Identifying possibilities for improvement with regard to IT services and IT control processes, as well as drafting proposals for improvement, in order to contribute to the effectiveness and efficiency of IT services Profile Experience and understanding of adapting to the situation to resolve issues Experience of managing relationships bot internal and external Excellent communication skills Experience of ITIL disciplines and strong service management understanding Essential knowlegde: Active Directory SCCM deployment Windows operating systems MS Office RSA Console Management Desirable: Ivanti SEP Anti-Virus Acrobat Papercut Snow
