Settle into our picturesque Amsterdam office while steering three monumental projects totalling a whopping €650 million. You'll be the grand architect of strategy, procurement, client chitchat, and managing commercial teams both on-site and from the office.

Description

Leading INTERNATIONAL Buildings Main contractor (Based in Holland) You will hold exposure to Data Centres, High Technology Buildings such as Pharma / Research. You will come to the table with a track record of Tier 1 Builders (MAIN CONTRACTING).

Group turn over in excess of $1.5 Billion across the World at present. This is a strategic appointment to strengthen their Commercial & Contractual pedigree in Europe.

You will be involved in day-to-day projects whilst growing, mentoring and upskilling your commercial department. Time will be split to meet business needs ensuring financial success and strong performance commercially. You will have a team of Quantity Surveyors, Seniors & Commercial Managers. You will be expected to be across the numbers. Due to the pace of program and decision-making times you will get into the detail of the jobs to protect, advise and drive.

Following is expected for successful applicants

* Currently based in Europe or UK due to mobilisation & Visas

* Open to travel in the Netherlands & Internationally to meet business needs

* 12 years post graduate experience in the market in a Commercial Manager / Director and leadership capacity

* possess a can do attitude with a hands on approach to management and commercial activities

* Clear strength of contract law and regulations. Be that FIDIC or bespoke client written contracts in this sector

* MRICS desired but not essential

* BSc Quantity Surveying

* Chartered status

* Capable to manage, grow and recruit high performing teams that follow your strong leadership
