As a Sales Support Officer, you play a supportive role for the Commercial Director, the Account Manager, and our valued customers. You act as a bridge between the Sales department, the customers, and colleagues from various departments within the organization.
Description
As a Sales Support Officer, you are responsible for a wide range of tasks aimed at supporting the sales department and analyzing market and customer data. Your duties include:
Processing contracts and customer agreements
You communicate with customers to negotiate agreements regarding products, prices, and deliveries, accurately inputting these agreements into the system. Initially, you will assist the account managers with these tasks, but eventually, you may handle them independently.
Internal coordination of orders and inventory
You coordinate orders and inventory internally, ensuring that the ordered quantities are feasible and that delivery dates are realistic. If necessary, you liaise with customers to discuss any changes or issues.
Troubleshooting with extensive customer contact and handling complaints
You collaborate with the customer service department to resolve customer problems and complaints, engaging in frequent customer contact and striving for the best solution for all parties involved.
Preparation of reports and presentations
You support the commercial director in preparing reports and presentations by providing relevant data and analyses.
Conducting market and customer analyses
You learn how to conduct market and customer analyses and apply your analytical skills to obtain valuable insights.
Arranging customer and trade show visits
You assist in scheduling customer appointments and organizing trade show visits for colleagues.
Sending samples to customers
You arrange for samples to be sent to (potential) customers to introduce them to the company's products.
Forecasting and demand planning
You contribute to inventory management by performing forecasting and demand planning activities to ensure optimal stock levels.
