Mane Infrastructure are on the look for an Electrical Construction Manager to work on behalf of our client who are leading M&E Engineering contractors who are carrying out major electrical installations and fit out within a new build energy from waste plant based in West Bromwich.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee all aspects of electrical installations and operations within ca large industrial new build project. With a focus on electrical expertise, you will ensure the successful implementation of electrical systems, adherence to safety standards, and efficient project delivery. Holding certifications such as SMSTS or a CSCS - Black Card, you will play a pivotal role in managing electrical construction activities and on site labour, ensuring you're driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Construction Leadership: Provide expert leadership and guidance in all electrical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
Project Planning and Coordination: Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive electrical construction plans, schedules, and budgets, incorporating safety and quality considerations at every stage.
Team Management: Supervise, & coordinate electrical contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and adherence to project timelines.
Electrical System Installation: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks associated with electrical construction activities.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and functionality of electrical installations, conducting inspections and quality checks throughout the construction process.
Resource Management: Manage electrical construction resources, including manpower, equipment and optimizing productivity and efficiency while minimizing waste and cost overruns.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of electrical construction activities, progress, and expenditures, generating reports and documentation as required for project management and client review.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders regarding electrical construction matters, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in electrical construction, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Certification in SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Black Card.
Extensive experience in electrical construction management, with a focus on large-scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings and specifications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, with experience in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements in the construction industry.Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other digital construction technologies.
Previous experience working with subcontractors and managing contractual relationships.
Knowledge of sustainable energy practices and renewable energy systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make timely decisions under pressure.
Proven track record of successfully delivering electrical construction projects on time and within budget.

Working Hours: (Approx.) - 07:30am - 17:30pm
