Oasis Ascent, a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers in Millcreek, Utah, is seeking a Janitor to join our dedicated and compassionate team.
At Oasis Ascent, we provide thorough assessments, around-the-clock secure care, and intensive support to young women in crisis, while their families work with licensed clinicians to determine the underlying causes of distress and the next steps for their needs. As a Janitor, you will play an essential role in providing a clean and inviting environment where the healing process can occur.
Working as part of our larger team, you will ensure that our facilities are well-maintained and organized, allowing our staff to focus on providing the highest level of care to our students. Your attention to detail and dedication to creating a safe and clean environment will contribute to the success of our program and the well-being of our students.
In addition to your janitorial duties, you will also have the opportunity to be a part of our integrated care services and contribute to fostering the healing process. By supporting healthy relationships, providing novel and challenging experiences, and taking a strengths-based approach, you will help create lasting change for our students.
We understand that our Janitorial staff plays an essential role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students. As such, we require two background checks for all new hires, in accordance with our company and the State of Utah regulations. Responsibilities:
Performs janitorial duties, including but not limited to cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming assigned areas, high and low dusting, emptying trash, wiping down surfaces, organizing cluttered areas.
We do run two background checks on any new hires as this is required by our company and the State of Utah. Please keep that in mind when you apply as you must pass both to be accepted in to the position.

Requirements
Please ensure your resume includes education, work experience, certifications, and licenses
High School diploma or equivalent
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
Able to pass criminal investigation background check
Able to pass motor vehicle record check (if applicable)
Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
First Aid & CPR certified (we may provide)
Working knowledge of computers
