Typical projects our client works on are valued between £1.5 million and £50 million. They typically work on 10-12 projects at any one time with the ability to work on 2 major projects (£40 million - 50 million).

They work on a mixture of new build and refurbishment projects across super prime residential, educational & Commercial sectors. Over the years the super prime residential side of the business has increased to be responsible for 40% of the company's turnover.

About the Role:

Our client is currently seeking an MEP Manager/ M&E Manager to oversee the mechanical & electrical delivery of a variety of projects between £2M and £40M across the commercial, educational, and super primes residential sectors often in challenging city environments.

They are looking for someone who is capable of running both the mechanical and electrical side of the project overseeing subcontractors. The role will require full project lifecycle technical support from pre-construction through to practical completion.

Key Responsibilities

* Assess tender returns to ensure MEP package accurately defines scope and design responsibility.

* Attend pre-order meeting ensuring sub-contract orders are compliant with contract and programme

* requirements.

* Provide support for sequencing and programming the installation of MEP services.

* Monitor MEP procurement and provide support to project delivery team.

* Organise and chair MEP workshops to provide technical solutions.

* Review and coordinate design programmes, information release schedules and inspection test plans.

* MEP design coordination with building structure, fabric, and constraints.

* Review and comment on MEP design including drawings and technical submittals.

* Review of energy strategy including compliance with current regulations.

* Assist site team in providing resolution to technical queries.

* Complete commission ability review.

* Provide technical support during the commissioning process and assist in programming.

* Assist the commissioning process to ensure compliance with design parameters.

* Attend witnessing and client demonstrations.

About the benefits and rewards:

The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary of between £55,000 & £75,000.
