As they continue to grow, we're looking for a Financial Controller to oversee their finance functions and contribute to their journey.

Your Role:

As a Financial Controller, you'll be the driving force behind their finance team, ensuring robust controls, effective risk management, and insightful performance analysis. You'll manage the finance teams in Worcestershire and Cambridgeshire, steering them towards commercial excellence and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and develop high-performing finance teams.

Partner with non-finance stakeholders internally and externally to enhance business outcomes.

Uphold a strong control environment, ensuring the company meets financial and legal standards.

Innovate and improve financial processes for better efficiency and effectiveness.

Provide strategic financial advice to the Board and Senior Managers.

Manage audit processes, statutory accounts, tax reporting, and financial forecasting.

Analyse margins and develop operational reporting tools and KPIs.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Is an inspirational leader with excellent people management skills.

Has a curious mind, eager to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Brings a track record of effective business partnering, offering insightful analysis to stakeholders.

Possesses strategic thinking abilities, with ERP implementation experience being a plus.

Has FMCG manufacturing experience, ideally within the food industry, and is comfortable in a multi-currency environment.

Demonstrates exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Qualifications:

You're a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with at least five years post-qualification experience in a business partnering role within a large corporate structure.
