My client is a telecommunications business who is now looking to recruit an experienced IT professional to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The role
As an IT Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the wider business with all day-to-day queries. This could be IT administration, setting up new users, hardware issues including first line support issues.
Working with a ticket system you will support a team of 140.
Key Responsibilities
Acting as first point of contact for any IT issues
Quick response to technical queries
Respond to tickets and emails in a prompt manner
Provide remote support and guidance to users
Document support activities effectively
Aid the implementation of IT projects and upgrades
Install, complete and maintain computer systems
The Candidate
Experience in a similar IT role
Strong understanding and knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting techniques
Able to work independently
Exceptional communication and customer service
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
