Manufacturing Engineer required for our global client based in Derby, this is a permanent opportunity to join a thriving business.
The role of the Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for responding to any queries from manufacturing suppliers, or engineering queries that may arise from the operational teams.
Responsibilities:
Initial point of contact for any manufacturing queries.
Work with suppliers (UK and overseas) to provide technical tooling solutions.
Creation, review and amendment of manufacturing and inspection documentation.
Writing of modification and repair specifications to allow pricing and manufacturing of tools.
Recording and maintaining information on ERP & other IT systems.Key Skills
Professional qualification HNC/Degree in an engineering experience in manufacturing environments in a technical role.
Understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic/hydraulic/pneumatics controls and systems.
Understanding of CE/UKCA Directives and Marking
Understanding of lifting equipment inspection requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driving licence and passport is essential.
UK and worldwide as required.38 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Flexible
Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 (dependant on experience and skills)
