NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Diagnostics Engagement and Planning Specialist to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

The role is key in developing relationships with stakeholders across the NHS to gain insights and early visibility of projects that provide new opportunities for sales and cost-effective procurement that deliver savings through aggregation and increased efficiency. Integral to the role is the requirement to work with internal stakeholders within the various categories in the Diagnostic part of the Commercial directorate to aid pipeline development and contribute to the delivery of savings by accurately forecasting NHS requirements.

General Account Management (Engagement)
Diagnostic Customer Champion
Expert Relationship Management
Drive compliance through Diagnostic Frameworks & optimise use of our initiatives to ensure cost effective procurement.
Provide valuable insight from customers to the wider Diagnostic Team in Commercial through reporting mechanisms.
Linking in with wider SCCL Customer Engagement Team
Escalation points in respect procurement of all capital equipment and associated services
Issue resolution
Broker/facilitate new contacts as required by business.
Develop regional plan to ensure development of region and delivery of strategy.

Experience of Customer relationship management
Knowledge of or have worked within the NHS
Experience of delivery to sales targets desirable but not essential
Experience of having filled a field-based role desirable but not essential
You must have a car license and own a car.
