We have a really exciting opportunity for a really niche company! This company serves clients worldwide and delivers exceptional products and services. They are seeking an experienced and skilled CNC Machine Shop Manager to join their dynamic team. If you are a senior CNC Machinist or Team Lead looking for the next step into management, this could be the role for you!

Manage daily operations of the department
CNC programming for new parts; Siemens, Protrak
Carry out staff appraisals and spot checks
Identify the most efficient, cost effecting tooling/ programming solutions
Hold weekly team meetings to ensure a smooth operation
Manual machining, turning and milling
Preparing producing quality machined components
Interpreting engineering drawings and offline programming
Manage stocks of cutting tools
Develop and maintain documentation
High standard housekeeping, cleaning and health safety

what were looking for.

Someone with a strong background in metal manufacturing and a understanding of machine workings and G-code. As well as this, a good knowledge of creating jigs and fixtures is desirable. You will need to have the ability to read and interpret drawings, have excellent organisational skills, leadership qualities, and be proficient in IT skills. It is essential that you can prioritise, be a strong problem-solver, and be strongly committed to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
