Class 1 Driver

We are currently looking for a large influx of Agency Drivers to join our team. With opportunities across Trafford Park, Warrington, and Manchester Airport, we have on-going work across multiple Clients, the roles that we require filling will amass to over 60,000 hours of work over the next 12 months. So you can rest assured you will be kept busy and in work while working with SRS.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate and drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures

* Transport goods and materials to designated locations efficiently and on schedule

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly

* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles

* Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, deliveries, and mileage

* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients and suppliers

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 driving license with a clean driving record

* Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card

* Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols

* Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe and responsible driving practices

* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues

* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and nights, as required

* Knowledge of local road networks and routes is an advantage
