Position: Fixed Term Employee

- Routers -Cisco 7200, 7600, L3/L-2 Switches 3750, 3550, 3400, 2950
- Juniper M120, EX4200,

Below are the high level responsibilities and deliverables on which the resources would be working:
o Undertake Virtual Backhaul migrations on Local to Metro and Local to Local Circuits.
o Troubleshoot and Configure the Access Network using technologies such as Layer 2 Switching and Layer 3 Routing. A good understanding of the following protocols OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Spanning Tree, VRRP, L2VPN, L3VPN, QoS, MPLS, PPP, DHCP, BNG, BRAS.
o Working with new technology expanding and improving Client Access Network.
o Complete Network Optimization and Capacity activities.
o Cooperate with Field Engineering providing remote support and provisioning of Client Access Network.
o Manage projects to ensure that network changes are implemented in line with defined change management procedures, with minimal interruption to operational services.
o Manage network changes (in conjunction with Operations), ensuring that they are implemented with minimal interruption to the end customer.
o Technical liaison with internal teams and external third party suppliers to manage the investigation and resolution of network issues. o Timely resolution of network incidents, minimizing the impact of any network outages.
o Providing support to the ClientNOC and Operational Teams.
o Ensure the correct level of documentation is created, reviewed, maintained and adhered to.
o Create, develop and maintain an asset database for IP equipment.
o Develop and implement best practice for new works and operational processes and procedures allowing continual service improvement
