Jackson hogg are delighted to be supporting our Houghton Le Spring based client in their search for 5 x production technicians to join their operation.
Our client is a global leader in the production of filtration products. They offer unique solutions to a multitude of sectors, such as the MOD, water filtration , biogas and air. They boast a high end state of the art facility, that has allowed them to deliver a first class service to longstanding clients.
Key details:
* Temp to perm - 13 weeks
* £15.96 per hour first 13 weeks
* £16.41 after 13 weeks
* 3 on 3 off shift rotation
* 12 hour shift
* Comprehensive training package
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate carbon fabric dryer and furnace/heat treatment machinery
* Load and unload machinery with carbon fabric
* Conducting daily checks on machinery
* Quality inspection
* Low level fault finding and maintenance
* Reacting to shut downs or abnormalities within production
* Escalate accordingly to maintenance team
Experience required:
* Chemical production (Desirable but not essential)
* Manufacturing experience within a fast paced environment
* Good level of attention to detail and concentration
* Ability to monitor multiple processes and confidently record data
* Quality inspection
