Senior SHE Advisor

I am looking for an experienced Senior SHE Advisor to work in East Sussex. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Senior SHE Advisor

Location: East Sussex

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £400- £450 per day

Duties will include:

To support the Contract SHE functions, provide, and support SHE solutions and enable the Contract / Operational Teams to implement the SHE Management Systems
Support and Influence Contract Leadership Team,
Support and where required deliver training
Coach and support the Contract Operational and Supply Chain Contractors
Actively support the delivery of the annual Contract and Group SHE Objectives
Actively engage with the Contract SHE Assurance programme
Actively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings
Support the timely reporting, analysis, and use of SHE data

Skills Required:

Having a strong background of working within the water industry
Safe delivery of water projects to time, cost, and quality
Be confident working in a team and adapting to more responsibility
Experience managing others within a team
NEBOSH Construction & IEMA Associate or equivalent

Skills Desirable:

Ambitious and dynamic personality
Experience of working on Water Industry construction projects, preferably with experience of large and complex deliveries
Someone with a commitment to Right first time
Experience working for a Tier 1 Contractor
