Shawthorpe are seeking an self-motivated Factory Operative to support business delivery.
Job Purpose
You will deliver the support the team needs to grow and produce the correct amount of work to deliver to their high end customer.
Duties / Responsibilities
Will be trained upon use of the safe operating processes for using lifting and support equipment including specialist heavy jacks, props, for large commercial tyres.
Carry out a dynamic risk assessment before and during any repair activity, only carrying out work when safe to do so.
General duties, tidying / working as a team
Use of basic hand tools equipment for tyre repairs and replacement, wheel balancing, pressure calibration and diagnosis and wheel geometry.
Key Skills / Ability / Experience
Ideally someone who has worked within a tyre manufacture or within tyre fitting but not essential
Self-motivated someone who can work on their own initiative.
Worked in a manufacturing / warehouse / factory environment is essential
Working Hours
8.30-5pm Monday to Friday
On Going contract leading to full time for the right person from 3 -5 days per week.
