We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineers to join our team in Birmingham. As part of our dynamic and supportive team, you will have the chance to work for a leading manufacturing company that works closely with the Aerospace and Automotive industry with a rich history and an innovative vision for the future.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be required to:

Conduct maintenance and repair activities on mechanical systems with a focus on hydraulics and pneumatics.

Mechanical fault finding.

Read and interpret drawings.

Experience/Knowledge:

We’re looking for Mechanical Maintenance Engineers with the below:

3 years post apprenticeship experience.

Experience in a heavy and or industrial environment.

Maintenance experience with heavy industrial, plant equipment and machinery.

Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, components, and principles.

Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (NVQ/BTEC)

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to Mechanical Maintenance.
