This is a special nursery, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, which is looking for a level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team. With great transport links on the doorstep, this lovely nursery with a beautiful garden, has a range of activities for the children including gardening, woodwork, ballet and yoga. There are also opportunities to enjoy local museums and nature watch at local beauty spots.

As a Nursery Practitioner you will ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. You will feed the childrens’ curiosities and fire their imaginations with creative and fun-filled learning.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and support to infants and young children in a safe and nurturing environment
Work with parents and guardians and provide updates on a child's progress and address any special requirements
Observe and assess children's behaviour and developmental progress, and make accurate records of children's daily activities, developmental milestones, and health-related informationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Hold a relevant and recognised childcare qualification at least level 3
Significant previous experience of working n a nursery setting
Knowledge of age-appropriate teaching and learning strategies
A strong understanding of child development principles and milestones for different age groups
A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field
