Our client a heavy industrial manufacturing company based near Goole, is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join their team. The hours are 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights 4 off) and the salary is £52,000. Benefits include 25 days of annual leave, an annual bonus of up to 5%, sick pay, a healthy training budget a robust company pension and more.
As a Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Troubleshooting and repairing production machines.
* Installing new equipment and systems, ensuring top-notch safety and performance standards.
* Performing preventative maintenance to enhance efficiency and equipment lifespan.
* Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and documentation to diagnose and repair issues.
* Collaborating with fellow engineers to address complex equipment problems.
* Participating in projects for continuous improvement in production efficiency.
* Working cross-functionally to identify and resolve equipment issues affecting production.
* Maintaining and updating equipment documentation, including schedules and records.
* Ensuring equipment operates within safety and performance standards through regular inspections.
Required Experience:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical skills.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in electrical engineering.
