We are seeking an experienced individual who is committed to delivering outstanding education and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
About the Role:
As a Teacher of Science, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment. You will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of A-Level teaching for the right candidate. Your enthusiasm for science will ignite curiosity and drive academic excellence among our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the science curriculum
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
Support students in achieving their full potential through tailored learning plans and interventions
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the school communityThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
A degree in a relevant science discipline
Proven experience teaching science at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching
