Abatec are looking for a Supervisor or a Team Leader looking for a step up to join our client’s team based in Highbridge.
The overall purpose of the Team Leader is to manage the team and oversee the site operation ensuring all work is carried out following correct policies and procedures.
What’s on offer? This is a full-time permanent opportunity; working Monday to Thursday, 07:30 am to 4:30 pm, and early finish on Friday.
The responsibilities of the role include:
* Efficiently managing the Production and Assembly team to ensure timely completion and delivery of work
* Providing clear leadership and direction to team members
* Conducting service and repair work on various Manufacturing equipment in the workshop
* Ensuring that all work is compliant with regulatory and legislative standards.
We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor/Team Leader who meets the following qualifications:
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including the use of hand and power tools, as well as a general production aptitude.
* Knowledge of production assembly methods, process tools, and techniques.
* Strong experience in motivating, coaching, and training a team of workers, with a focus on using modern operational processes.
* Previous experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, Charge-hand, or similar role would be beneficial.
* A positive attitude towards personal development and a willingness to grow.
It would be advantageous to have experience in a similar role/environment or a strong ambition to progress, alongside a proven history of managing employees and production within an industrial/construction context.
