Location: Carlisle

Salary: £10.50- £11.33 p/h

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday 08:30 Am to 17:00 Pm

Type: Temp to Perm

Start Date: Immediately  

We are hiring a Multi-drop Delivery Driver to join a dynamic and expanding business in the rapidly growing parcel delivery sector. You will be delivering for the first 8 weeks on employed courier basis with our support and guidance. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will be an important part of this team helping to continue the growth of the business. You’ll become a member of a supportive team that works together to create an unbeatable service.

Duties of a Multi-drop Delivery Driver

Loading, unloading, and operating the van given.
Locating and driving to various addresses - Sat Nav provided.
Delivering parcels on time with the use of our PDA/ barcode scanner.
You will deliver and collect from 90 -130 destinations per day.
Route automatically sorted into an economical delivery sequence.
Uniform provided.
Training in our system and procedures provided.
Skills and experience of a Multi-drop Delivery Driver

Able to drive high-top long wheelbase 3.5t van.
Clean DBS CHECK
A valid UK driving license (REQUIRED).
Mobile phone.
Present yourself in a calm and professional manner to customers and members of the public.
Have good time management skills and meet delivery deadlines.
delivery driver- 1 year (REQUIRED).
Van driving- 1 year (REQUIRED).
