We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Generalist to join our team in Fresno, CA.
As a Human Resource Generalist, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the HR department and providing support to the organization's employees. You will work closely with the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures, handle employee relations, and ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Handle employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Coordinate and conduct training and development programs for employees
- Administer employee benefits and ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and policies
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives
- Provide support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
- Handle other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
