Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned company, is currently hiring for the position of Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant. As a Bilingual Speech Language Pathology Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist and assist in providing therapy to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, as well as a variety of other disorders. Responsibilities
Assist licensed Speech Language Pathologist in evaluating and diagnosing patients
Implement treatment plans developed by the Speech Language Pathologist
Provide therapy sessions in multiple languages to improve speech and language skills
Monitor and document patient progress
Assist in educating patients and their families on communication strategies
Collaborate with the Speech Language Pathologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Requirements
State certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Fluency in a second language (English/Spanish)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team setting
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to follow directions and work under supervision
Ability to grow and develop Speech Pathology skills through hand-on experience
