We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Software Quality Engineer to join us in our mission. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end testing process, ensuring smooth and timely product releases while maintaining a high standard of product quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Testing and Quality Assurance for connected consumer electronics, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities: 
Contribute to Software QE and UAT efforts across the entire stack, primarily focused on hardware testing and validation activities
Help coordinate creation of test plans, test procedures, and define execution strategies
Deep dive in to hardware bugs/issues — working with teams and suppliers to understand root cause with goal of developing interim and permanent corrective actions
Advocate for and implement testing best practices, continuously improving through innovation and iteration
Work and collaborate effectively in a global dynamic team environment
Communicate and document test results and strategies effectively
Requirements
Must have hands-on experience in testing Linux-based devices
Strong knowledge of testing sensors and hardware peripherals
3+ years of experience in a quality or software engineering role
2+ years of experience using testing frameworks and methodologies
Hands-on experience building test rigs and running test procedures with product hardware
Working knowledge of AWS services and continuous deployment pipelines using GitLab
Solid understanding of QA tool development chains and environments
Experience with multiple types of testing, such as regression, performance, stress, end-to-end, integration, and security testing
Good understanding of serial communication methods
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Work Eligibility

Base Salary: $77,835.00 - $(phone number removed) USD
