Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to maintain and enhance the appearance and functionality of residential and multi-family properties. This includes performing routine inspections, responding to maintenance requests, and ensuring all systems are operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
Perform general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
Assist in property improvement projects as needed.
Provide excellent customer service to residents and address their maintenance concerns.
Must be available for a rotating on-call schedule for emergency call-outs.

Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other maintenance systems.
Ability to use various hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
