Emerson Grange is a stunning 85-bedded care home that provides the most luxurious surroundings and the very best care and support. As part of the development there are also 47 luxurious retirement apartments - Emerson Park -  which have access to the range of first-class village facilities.

This is an exciting role and we are looking for someone who will support the owners of the Apartments on a daily basis.  From the first day of their move-in to the Village, liaising with the Home Admission Advisors, you will ensure this is a seamless and stress free process. You will be part of their daily life, meeting as necessary, supporting them with any needs they may have and also researching/planning, booking and hosting a full schedule of events both at the Village or externally in the Community. There will be times that you will be required to drive the minibus so a clean driving licence is essential. 
You will also attend apartment/resident meetings, taking minutes and acting on any outcomes.

You will be involved in organising some evening social events and would be expected to be part of this, so flexibility of working occasional weekends and evenings will be required. 

Main Responsibilities:
 • To organize and prepare in detail a programme from initial planning and discussion with the working group, any trips, and activities both externally and internally including every aspect of the activity planned so that it meets the needs of the Apartment owners
• To minute, prepare, and distribute any documents from meetings in the Apartment owners are involved
• To be fully aware of the varied needs of the Apartment Owners when planning any activities
 • To be knowledgeable and resourceful to be able to offer suggestions in this field
 • To negotiate with other members of the Emerson Team where necessary and appropriate
• Maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with the Apartment owner/and family as necessary. 
 • Develop and conduct a resident and family orientation to the environment. 
 • To be prepared to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the Apartment owners.

Essential:

Administration skills – ability to take minutes at meetings

Preferably first aid qualified, if not prepared to take a course if necessary

Clean driving license and willingness to drive the homes minibus at times

Desirable:

Previous experience working in a Care Home Environment
