Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / 1:1 - Complex Needs

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Full Time

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Do you have a heart for supporting students with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our vibrant secondary school community in Chelmsford.

Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with a range of complex needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
Work collaboratively with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment.
Assist with the development of social skills and independence in students.
Monitor and report on the progress of students.
Requirements:

Experience working with children or young adults with complex needs.
A compassionate approach and the ability to be patient and encouraging.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
A relevant qualification in education or special needs support is desirable.
