BRIDGE INSPECTOR/ASSISTANT BRIDGE INSPECTOR

£30,000 – 35,000 per annum + package. (DOE)

The Role and Responsibilities

As Bridge Inspector your role would be within the testing and inspecting division, working within a small team that are responsible for testing and inspections of bridges and structures. This role will involve travelling across the UK to multiple sites to test the structures and write up detailed reports on the findings. This role can support someone through chartership with ICE and allow you to join a small team with plans to grow this team and division within the business.

Our client is a well-known SME who are involved heavy within highways maintenance, structural engineering and marine work projects across Anglia and the South. This is a company who likes to invest in their people and can provide great career progression.

The Requirements

The ideal person for this role will be someone willing and keen to work and learn within the testing and inspecting industry. You will need to have graduated and have a degree or equivalent in civil or structural engineering. This role will require someone to work away from home multiple nights a week and travel across the UK. This role would also be suited to a Civil or Structural Engineer who is interested in pursuing a career in this industry. Previous experience within the role would be advantageous.

Travel and accommodation expenses are included in the package.
