Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant
Location: Norwich, Norfolk.
Salary / Benefits £24k - £38k + Training + Benefits

Our client is a reputable Asbestos Company who specialise in providing Asbestos Surveying services across Social Housing, Local Authority, Retail, Domestic, and Educational sites. They are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant to cover contracts in East Anglia. You will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across our clients longstanding client base, ensuring work is carried out in line with HSG 264 guidelines. You will also be required to liaise with clients directly, providing excellent consultancy advice and support. This role would suit someone who is looking to travel predominantly across East Anglia.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Great Yarmouth. Lowestoft, Diss, Thetford, Wisbech, Downham Market, March, Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket Ipswich, Felixstowe, Harwich, Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Saffron Walden, Maldon, Basildon, Brentwood, Southend-on-Sea, Harlow, Chelmsford.

Experience & Qualifications:
" Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent.
" Will have extensive hands-on experience working as a surveyor for a reputable UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
" Able to work in line with HSG 264 guidelines.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Able to work well in a fast paced and stressful environment.
" Excellent management and supervisory skills.
The Role:
" Working on Social Housing, Local Authority, Retail, Domestic, and Educational sites.
" Carrying out Management, Refurbishment, and Demolition surveys.
" Carrying out re-inspection surveys upon completion of work.
" Ensuring work carried out adheres to HSG 264 guidelines.
" Liaising with clients, providing excellent consultancy advice and support.
" Creating excellent comprehensive reports using TEAMS / TRACKER systems.
" Carrying out quality checking on reports prior to sending to clients.
" Liaising with surveyors, advising on discrepancies in reports and amending as required.
