SEMH Teaching Assistant - Secondary
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £70 - £100 per day
Status: Full Time
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support secondary schools in Newcastle. This role involves providing one-on-one and small group support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
Support students with SEMH needs in their academic and social development.
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable.
Patience, empathy, and resilience in the face of challenges.
