A friendly firm based in Manchester is seeking a contentious probate solicitor to join their talented team of solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:

* Handle a full range of contentious estates matters independently, including capacity disputes, will validity disputes, constructive trusts, administration disputes, and 1975 Act cases.

* Build and manage a caseload of contentious probate cases, including will validity disputes, 1975 Act claims, and estate administration disputes.

* Work within a supportive team environment, seeking guidance and support from colleagues and the head of the department when needed.

Requirements:

* Some experience of contentious probate matters is essential, demonstrating a strong understanding of the relevant legal principles and procedures.

* The firm will consider those with broader litigation experience.

* Capable of working autonomously on complex contentious probate cases while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

* Proven ability to build and manage a caseload of contentious probate matters, ensuring timely and effective resolution for clients.
