Children's Residential Support Worker (CRSW) - Oldham
Prospero are currently recruiting experienced Children's Residential Support Workers who are looking for flexible shifts which work around your lifestyle, based within Oldham and the surrounding areas.
As a Support Worker you will provide support for the children and young people within a residential environment, providing essential care and maintaining a safe environment. You will be responsible for:
Actively engaging with the young people with their interests and aspirations
Engaging, communicating and listening to the children and their needs
Promoting healthy routines for daily living (meals, bedtimes, social)
Documenting all observations with accuracy
Supporting the young person to manage and regulate their emotions
Maintaining professional boundariesTo be a successful Children's Residential Support Worker you should have:
Minimum of six months experience working within a similar setting
Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be a resilient and friendly individual
Proficiency at building strong professional relationships
Holder of the Right to Work in the UK
Driver's licence (desirable)
Ability to complete our compliance requirements (includes DBS, References, Training)
Level 3 Children & Young People (desirable)You will benefit from:
