HR Advisor

Up to £35,000 DOE

Near Tonbridge (must drive due to rural location)

35 hours per week

Up to 12 month Fixed Term Contract

My client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for a HR advisor to join their team on a fixed term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience with strong people management skills and experience of managing projects.

Duties include:

Supporting the HR team with strategic and operational goals.
Supporting department managers, providing training, coaching and mentoring to enhance people management capabilities.
Managing projects within the business such as reviewing current processes and systems.
Implementing new processes and systems.
Responsible for grievance and disciplinary procedures.
General day to day duties such as recruitment, updating job descriptions and onboarding.

To be considered for this role, you must have/be:

Previous HR experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering.
Good experience in project work and able to implement new processes into the business.
Exposure to the full employee life cycle to include ER.
Sound knowledge of employment legislation.
Able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
A CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
Good IT skills.
Ideally immediately available or have a short notice period.
