Red Sky Personnel are seeking multiple Tyre Technicians to join our client based in the Abingdon, Oxfordshire area.
Pay: £27k-£32k (dependant on experience)
Additional Pay: Considerable earnings opportunity for afterhours breakdowns
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday - 8am-12pm
Working remotely from your van or from one of the depots, you will be replacing and servicing truck & van tyres at customer locations and attending roadside breakdowns.
You will need to record job-related information electronically on a tablet and there will be some out of hours working required. On occasions you will also be involved in unloading deliveries at your depot location.
* React / City & Guilds Roadside qualification desirable.
* Experienced in Commercial Tyre Fitting, car tyre experience considered.
* A current UK valid driving licence.
* Adherence to company Health and Safety procedures.
* The drive to provide great customer experiences.
* Ability to work on own initiative but full support from City management.
* Repairing, Regrooving and full tyre management in line with our customers Service agreements.
* Job completion/fleet inspections via electronic data capture.
* You are required to assist in out of hours call out rota.
* Paid overtime maybe required to complete an ongoing job.
* Uniform will be provided in line with the companies working/health and safety policy.
* Holidays are 22 days per year plus bank holidays, holiday will need to be authorised by your line manager.
* You may at times be requested to work at other depots to support.
* Service bonus is paid on the profit of the van
