Secondary English Teacher in Portsmouth

Start September

Pay – £140.86 - £215 per day (depending on experience)

Location - Portsmouth

Hours - 8am – 4PM

Temporary Full-time with the potential to become permanent

About the role:

Supply Desk are working with a Secondary school based in Portsmouth that are seeking an English teacher to support students. The role will be teaching all elements English with some general cover with time allowed for planning and marking. The school are looking for someone with excellent subject knowledge, good classroom management and a really positive approach to teaching and building relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable skills or build upon existing experience in an education setting.

Overview:

Supply Desk are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a Secondary school based in the Portsmouth area on a long-term contract with the possibility of a permanent contract.

About the School: 

The School is a mixed Secondary school based in Portsmouth for students aged from 11+ years with around 800 students in total. The Secondary school comes with a Good reputation and has supportive team members that cares deeply for their values. The school also provides free onsite parking.

The ideal candidate will:

Be a committed team player
Proven track record of raising attainment
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Be able to deliver Art & Design in a fun and engaging way that students can relate 

·         Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
You will be required to work confidently with Key Stage 3-5 pupils.
