About the role

Balfour Beatty are currently looking for a  Business Support Assistant to join our Connect Plus Services (CPS) team based at Dartford. 

Within this role you'll provide administrative support to the facilities team, and to the wider business, oversee facilities management tasks and compliance records, liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, whilst also providing a courteous, effective, and efficient ‘front of house’ service to visitors if required.

What you'll be doing

As a Business Support Assistant you'll: 

On- site facilities liaison
Organise travel when required
Order lunches, stationery, and consumables
Maintain printers
Organise mail
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence emails
Sign for deliveries and ensure these are immediately forwarded to the recipient
Carry out weekly office inspections
Look for way to constantly improve customer services within this area of the business
Support ad-hoc administrative duties, as required

Where reception duties are required:

(travel to other sites may be required, depending on location)

Receive all visitors in a friendly and courteous manner and comply with building security protocols.
Maintain meeting room diaries and ensure rooms are ready for use
Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and tidy

Who we're looking for

Professional personal presentation
Strong customer focus and administrative skills
Organised and able to work on own initiative
Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels
Facilities experience desirable.
