ACCOUNT DIRECTOR / SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

The Company:

We are supporting our Leicestershire based client who are looking for an experienced and hands on Account Manager to join their team, working as the lead client liaison they will be working with multiple high profile clients on creative retail solutions as well as working closely with internal teams – Project Managers, Designers, Production so that they are knowledgeable on every aspect of the projects and are able to keep the client informed at every stage.

The successful candidate must have current proven experience as an Account Manager at senior level within a creative agency and a genuine passion for the industry and their clients. Financially and commercially astute they must have a flexible approach to the role to ensure that deadlines and objectives are achieved.

Working primarily across beauty/cosmetics they will manage luxury brands delivering an exceptional level of service to their clients.

The role

* Experienced in acting as a respected and trusted strategic adviser to luxury brand clients, gaining a full understanding of the client’s business, opportunities and objectives

* Involved in each Project they will be able to maintain a good knowledge of the technical aspect of the projects and the finer detail in order to confidently keep the client informed at every stage.

* Pro-actively develop new business as well as creating strategic proposals and presentations aimed at driving the client’s business forward ensuring it is relevant, on brief and in keeping with the client’s brand objectives

* Develop clear annual plans for the development of each account and provide financial forecasting as well as responsibility of day-to-day financial management to include invoicing.

* Take responsibility for building and managing a strong working relationship with all levels of client, building the trust of the client through clear direction, honesty and integrity

* As part of the business a hands-on approach to the Account Director role and other areas of the business

Key Skills required:

* Proven experience within the retail design industry and ideally knowledge of manufacturing

* Previous experience working directly on projects or a strong understanding of the project process is essential

* Effective time management, organised and motivated

* Commercially minded, interested in design and has an insight into key trends

* Confident presenter of both strategic ideas and creative work, able to write clear, concise and inspirational creative briefs

* Demonstrate good creative judgement

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.

* Excellent administration skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, able to be flexible to suit the needs of the business and client requests

* Good understanding of social media and competent in Microsoft office packages – including excel
